From the witches in Shakespeare's Machbet,to Gandalf in Lord of the rings books and films,it is clear that the idea of magic has been araund for many years. Both play and books/films,it is clear that the idea of something mysterious to add interest and excitement to the story...

Magical rings and tree headed dogs may not be real, but does this mean nothing magical really exists?

I definitely don't believe that there is some magical thing existing. I don't know why.

Maybe it's because I am an atheist.

To know whether or not magic exists, you have to define magic first. What do you think magic is???

Here's what i think, to be human is to think (thats how we are designed Wink ) We see and observe many things and we want to find an explanation for them, its only natural. Things we saw but were unable to explain (using our scientific tools) began known as magic, which, obviously was and is the easy way out. But let me tell you something, scientific tools are used to measure physical properties and systems only. And we know what the universe is not only physical. For example, dreams, they do exist, we all see them (and some of them are true, they hint us about possible future) but no one is able to measure dreams, i cannot see your dreams and you cannot see my dreams, but they exist, so much so when you wake up after a dream you cannot even tell the time during which your dream lasted, and the time in your sleep when you saw no dreams.

I always say, there is so much more to being a human than what our bodily organs (eyes, ears etc) tell us. If you rely only on your physical/bodily senses, you will only be confinig your self and your abilities.

Do you know what the problem with humans is, they only believe what they see, but they cannot deny that what they cannot see or can they ???
