I would like some advice on gaining a qualification. Are TEFL courses such as those through companies such as i-to-i accepted or would I be better to take a Cambridge CELTA?
Thanks |

Cambridge Celta is not cheap. It costs $2000 to do the fulltime course in Australia...BUT, it seems to be woth it. The Celta certificate has a good reputation amoungst probable employers.
WHEREAS....a Probable employer may have never heard of i-to-i or their qualification, I havent heard of i-to-i.
SO...it will depend on WHERE you plan to work and what they commonly accept as a sufficient qualification. Different countries have very different Requirements. Some Overseas employers will specifically ask for Celta. They Know what Celta is and what people who have it are able to do. _________________ ab2146 |
