Dear expert,
Is it possible to say: every afternoon we were off ?
In the sense of not having to work in the afternoons.
I'm really grateful for your assistance.
Best wishes,

To me is sounds better to say...
We were off every afternon.
When you say...
"Every afternoon we were off" I expect a phrase to follow "off." (Every afternoon we were off to track practice.)
Just my opinion - Kristi _________________ "That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much." R.L. Stevenson |
