Do "value", "valuation" and "evaluation" have the same meaning?
Is the usage of each word different ?

For example,
"You think too much of other people's evaluation."
In this sentence, can "evaluation" be paraphrased to "value" or "valuation"?

With best regards,
Junkomama

The words can not be used interchangabally. I will try to explain each word...hope this helps.

Valuation - n - the determining of the value of something
**A valuation would be made by an auctioneer before the bidding begins at an auction. (This word is not used often.)

Value - n - the worth of a thing
**After a valuation of a piece of art, the actioneer would determine the value of the item.

Evaluation - the judgement of worth
**Your personal evaluation of the art will lead you to bid high on an item you want.

Let me know if I can help more - Kristi

Hello, kristi-san.
Thank you very much for your answer!

Please let me confirm if I understand.
In the example sentence I wrote ( I mean "You are too sensitive about what others think of you." ) , "evaluation" is the appropriate word, and it cannot be paraphrased to "valuation" or "value".

Do I have a right understanding?

With best regards,
Junkomama

Hey -

Yes. Evaluation is the correct choice.
