I absolutely agree with you! I have been researching China for the past few weeks, because once I am a ceritified TESOL teacher with my bachelors degree, I am planning on going there first!
If you're interested, can you tell me any of you common day tasks that may not be so obvious to others?
Thanks! Very Happy

"Common day tasks" would just mean common things that you do every day.

It's hard to tell you them all.Today Chinese kids have got a lot of things to do,their life is vivid and colorful, reading books, going to the theater, surfing the net,etc.&etc.
Welcome to China, anyway. You'll find out China a friendly nation and people mostly keeping open house to others.

as resonant says, nowadays the life of chinese kids is vivid and colorful.
i really envy them ...cause i'm not a little girl yet... -_-
firstly they have to go to school.this is the same with my childhood.
but now they can have varies classes in school and learn much more what they themselves interest in.....
secondly thier spare lesiure activities is much more exciting..
but this is only one side of a mirror...in contrary there are still many kids live a hard life...
