Hi guys,
Bubble tea??? That sounds interesting, what is it?
And in general, what is Taiwanese food like? Hot and spicy? Wholesome? Do you use a lot of meat or rather rice and vegetables?
Your food seems to be so different from food in my country, I think you need to describe things a bit more clearly! I have no idea how your "strong-smelling preserved bean curd" would taste. I mean, I can imagine that it's tasty, but "strong-smelling" puts me off a bit.... |

Bubble tea is a kind of tea beverage where sweetened tea is mixed with milk and later they add tapioca balls (hence the name "Bubble tea": "bubble" corresponds to the tapioca balls I think). We use a wide straw to drink bubble tea, wide because of the tapioca balls. Between sips in addition to the tea we also chew on the tapioca balls.
As for "strong-smelling preserved bean curd", I guess this is a rough translation from Chinese, which I myself have no idea. _________________ We can solve every problem in this world if we put aside our differences and work together. |
