I've heard "That's most beautiful" and "That's the most common." Do I need to use "the" before superlative, in such cases? Or are they both right?

Duheng Deng:

"That's most beautiful" or "That's most common" are informal ways of saying that something is very beautiful or very common.

In contrast, "That's the most beautiful" and "That's the most common" are formal ways of saying that something is more beautiful or more common than anything else in the world.

So both phrases can be used, but there is a slightly different meaning.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
