My daughter asked me to take her to HongKong Disney this winter holiday. for a 7-year-old girl, Disney is like a paradise, but for me, it means nothing. I have no interest in Disney. However, I have to consider her suggestion since I am a great mom
The only problem is: how will I spend my time when she has fun in Disney? yeah, I would take some pictures of her, but that won't take up all my Disney time. I have to work out an fine way to spend time.
What is your suggestion for me? guys? you are welcome to give your sugguestions and advices. thanks |

Because she is so young, she is small. And because she is small, she cannot go on many of the interesting rides. She will probably be bored on the rides by herself, so your time will be spent going on the rides with her. (For security sake, NEVER let her out of your sight! The park police are good for keeping the peace, but a little girl can still too easily disappear.) Much of your time will be spent actually walking between the rides and waiting in l-o-n-g queues before the rides. Does HK Disney have parades? If so, waiting for that is good for killing 30-60 minutes. Lunch is another half hour; a stage show is another half hour to an hour. By the afternoon she'd be tired. I'd be really surprised if your daughter lasted long enough to see the evening fireworks. |

Bob, I am sure you are a great dad, ain't you? thank you for your advice.
you know what? at beginning, I planned to take my laptop with me, in that case, I can read dirty jokes to spend my time when my daughter has fun in HK Disney but after receiving your advice, I decide not to take my laptop with me |

Not yet (just a great uncle now!). As for the Dad thing, we'll find out how good I am next year.

Maybe on the train ride to HK (you're. what, ~250km from HK?), but not in the park.
Enjoy the time with your daughter while you can! In 5 years when she wants to go again, she'll want to take her best friend from school. Then you'll become just a chaperon sitting idly by as they run from ride to ride. 5 years after that it will be with her boyfriend. 5 years after that her husband. 5 years after that with her own children! She grew up so fast! |

What is the Chinese word for "flower"? Does that suit as a girl's name in Chinese? |

RedRose, please, dont think that you are going to get bored in Disney. Once you arrive, you will feel the magic and that wakes the child we all have inside. Besides, I am sure you are going to enjoy your dauthers happiness and that is going to make you so happy, too. _________________ VMVM |

In Chinese, flower pronounces Hua, it could be a good nick, but not a formal name.

I cheat with a translator web site. I am too stupid to write such complicated characters.
Fortunately my wife has chosen 花 as the child's name. Only 7 simple strokes, something I can do! In Japanese it is pronounced "Hana" and sounds like "Hannah" which is a female name in English. So it works well in both languages. How can that be made into a nickname in Chinese? All the ultrasounds and amniocentesis tests show it is definitely a female. During an ultrasound, the doctor was showing: "And here where there would be boy parts, you can definitely see girl parts." |
