Hello, teachers!
Do you usually use "a meeting" or "a meet" in place of "a competition" , "games", or "a tournament"?
For example, "a succer/tennis meeting/meet" makes sense?

A competition is "a meet."
So you could have a meeting about the track meet.
English is odd. I suppose all languages are though.
