say it today.
making this world happy to live starts from your very small action.
say hello to your neighbor. i believe we can make this community more bright just saying small talks with your sincereness.
turn your small talks into a real.

Chinese people are very shy. we seldom say I love you to parents.

I have never said that to my parents.

Imagine: if I say I love you to my parents, they would get shocked! Wink actually they know I love them. I don't wanna freak them out, so I would never say that to them.

i think sometimes it's good to hear it even if you actually already know it. my mom and i like each other very much, although we have our arguments - who doesn't have them with his/her parents Wink
i often say "i love you" or rather "i like you" to my mom, also to my sister. but surely it's totally different in asia because people there are normally much more shy than in america/europe world.
although, as i write it here, i doubt if i could say it so absolutely, because i think that in usa/europe there are also families in which no one says "i love u" - sadly. in aisa it's more taken for granted that cildren and parents love each other, so no one has to say it aloud..

but after i made up my mind to say "i love you" to my parents, i did it.
they were very pleased and smiled. it made me happy also.

i think it is very important to express the things that we feel it is natural, for example, how much i love somebody or how much i feel happy an d so on. when we accustomed to these kind of expressions, we can deal with people around us more comfortably, i think.

communication starts from a very small things like this. if you want somebody to like you, say soft and sweet words first. The mirror never smiles before you smile~

If someone says "I love you" or even "I like you" to his mother in China, he will probably end in any hospital for some investigation about psychical health. Laughing Yeah, you are right, stellara, I doubt how you know about it.

COME ON PEOPLE !!!!!!! what's wrong if you love your parents they deserve to know that they are being loved by their children. Shy not shy DOESN'T MATTER just say it 'cause thats the truth. Asians are shy no dobt, but not in expressing love for your parents.

I know if I ever had kids i would make them say "I love you mummy" before going to bed, after getting up in the morning, before school, before breakfast, after coming home, before meals (pretty much all the time) Twisted Evil Hmmmmm.....On second thought, i should be making their daddy say that (with the word mummy excluded, of course) Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Yeah, that's a difference!
I really doubt what should happen if someone goes to his brother, knees on the ground, gives his brother a bound of roses, and say: "I love you".

However, that would be the reaction if you do it in China.

'i love you' is a miracle words..
it shows how much you love someone
eventhough they know how much you love them without you tell them but once you say it, it's different.
the 1st time i say it to my mom
she gave me a big smile, the sweetest smile i ever seen
you have to try it to your parents... Razz
