Is the word 'below' a preposition or an adverb in the following 3 sentences?
a) See below
b) See the flight details mentioned below
c) Confirm the booking below
I'm confused.... please help! |

a) See below.
Below is an adverb modifying see (where should you see?).
b) See the flight details mentioned below.
Below is an adverb modifying mentioned (where was it mentioned?).
c) Confirm the booking below.
Below can be an adverb modifying confirm (where should we confirm?)
It's more likely that below is a preposition indicating the position of the booking.
"Confirm (this)."
"Confirm (the next booking below the last booking).
