to stellara: Talking about gene manipulation, I rather say that it will not be that much far developed in a couple of years that you could create "perfect people". And everything which doesn't sound realistic won't happen often, anyway.
What is more realistic is that the developement of the gene manipulation will decrease people's mortality rate. That's a good thing, isn't it?

And to Asiaunec:
Quote:
I think you are not very correct!
I think girls want to their longer!
But always they have to leave their boy friend in many reasons!!
if you really love your girl, you should cherish her!

Though I don't really understand your sentence, I would say that whether you love your girl mainly depends on the way her face looks and the size of her stomach.
But you are right, if she is sexy, namely pretty and not overproportioned, then I really should cherish her. Mr. Green

Oh, BTW, how are you recovering after the terrible earthquake? Was it near your city? California knows the horrors of quakes. Lorikeet's city is famous for being destroyed about 90-100 years ago.

Thanks for your concern about the earthquake, it was indeed HORRIBLE but the aftermath of the earthquake is even more horrible. The earthquake jolted most of the northern areas of the country. My city is a little away from the worst hit areas, a few buildings collapsed, many others are declared unsafe and the most amazing thing is that its not over yet, as recent as a day back there was another earthquake whose origin was in afghanistan and was felt in parts of both india and pakistan. Since 8th Oct. about more than 900 after shocks are recorded !!! Near this region, first the tsunami and now a series of earthquakes which are felt in upper parts of afghanistan, india and pakistan......I think this region is going through a major shift in tactonic plates Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes . May God be with all of us.

It is scary but now i think i am a bit used to the sensation of earthquake, its not only the earth moving that you feel, for me the sensation of earthquake is immediately followed by extreme headache and nausea. After experiencing so many earthquakes in such a short time I've concluded some thing, I may be wrong, but this is how i feel, during an earthquake, if you it is quite difficult to walk (running is even more difficult), its like gravity is working extra hard to pull you down, if you try to walk during an earthquake, the sensation is like walking in an elevator when it is moving up. (if you have ever experienced an earthquake you will know what I'm talking about).

you're right, it probably will take a couple of years, but i think it's terrifying enough to know that it is at least possible! Shocked
and you'd just have to think of the people hundred years ago, they lived only about 40 years and now you have a life expectancy of nearly 75 years! that's an improvement!

dancefish, I guess your explanation partly makes sense. basically, girls seldom care about how many ex-gfs their bfs have. but boys do. maybe that's the point.

Yeah, but now nearly no girl doesn't have done sex before, so maybe I should really cut my hair off and go in a shao lin temple.

even if you go to a temple to become a monk, you also would like to date a girl since you are so good-looking Laughing
