Hello, teachers!
I always wonder which is natural, No.1 type sentence or No.2 type sentence.
1. It means that / He says that ・・・・・・ because / though 。。。。。。.
2. It means that/ he says that because / though 。。。。。。 , ・・・・・・.
。。。。。。is the subordinate clause of ・・・・・・
Ex. 1. He said that I shouldn't go out beause I had a cold.
2. He said that because I had a cold, I shouldn't go out.

I am a little confused. Based on your examples toward the bottom of your post, I think example #1 sounds better.
