Dear teachers,
What does "gifted class" mean in English?
In our high school, we recruit students who have art talents such as dancing, singing, painting, sculpture...and so on.
Can the class be called "gifted class"? Or something else?
Thanks for your answer in advance.

Gifted class refers to a high level of talent or intelligence of the students. A class could be gifted in art, math, English, music, or any other subject. For your art talent example, you could only say that the class is gifted if the students are particularly good in the arts. Because you are recruiting students for these talents, it is likely that they are "gifted," but if the students are simply average, then the class would not be considered gifted.
By the way, what is your talent? Are you a singer, dancer, painter, or sculptor?
Hope that helps. Good luck. _________________ - Mike
