i saw a sign at a car dealer that says "Pre_Owned Cars."

what r pre-owned cars? r those the same as used cars??

Yes, they are the same as used cars, but someone decided that "pre-owned" sounded more high class. It was probably an expensive car company that had that sign. I bet you pay more for a "pre-owned" car than a "used car" just like you pay more for "Hors-d'oeuvres" than you do for "appetizers."
