Hello everyone.
There are two similar, though a little different, versions a passage below. Which passage, #1 or #2, is more natural and easier to read? My main interest is whether or not �catching a ball� is necessary information in this context.
1. We watched a baseball game at Tokyo Dome yesterday. The game was very exiting, with everyone shouting loudly for their favorite players. Ichiro caught a ball with his arm out over the fence, successfully saving a home run. We went home, quite satisfied with the outstanding plays we saw.
