I'm now reading an English tale and a word confused me. It's "Goode'en" (The full sentence is "Goode'en to ye."). What does this word mean? Thanks for your answer.
Have a nice day! |

Hi,Jerry
The apostrophe stands for the letter ''v''. Actually it's ''Good evening to you.'' Usually in peoms,''even'' can also mean evening.
Hope you know it better now. _________________ Home Is Where The Heart Is |
