Hello everyone ı would like to take your comments on the following question

"Class periods must be long enough ............ the type of inquiry teching ......."

A) to be enabled / to achieve
B) enabling / to have achieved
C) to have enabled / achieving
D) being enabled / being achieved
E) to enable / to be achieved

In my opinion the answer is E but one of my friends say that the anwer is A

I would be very happy to get your opinions

I agree with you. A is not correct. The class periods need to ENABLE inquiry, not to be enabled themselves. To enable is to make possible.

I'd go for E also.
