I have questions about "two of"
First, are "two of" and "one of" used with "uncountable singular nouns"?
For example, Two of information etc..
Second, if "two of" and "one of" can be used with "uncountable singular nouns", must "two of" be used with "plural verbs" or "singular verbs?
For example, Two of information are/is(?) needed.
but I am confused..
[1] Two pieces of information are needed.
[2] Two of information are/is(?) needed.
From above, I have known that [1] is correct, and then like that [2], can we say this sentence? |

No. The example is not correct. Uncountable means just that. Putting "one" or "two" in front of a noun is, in fact, COUNTING.
Second, if "two of" and "one of" can be used with "uncountable singular nouns", must "two of" be used with "plural verbs" or "singular verbs?

As you have said, number 1 is correct. But the "two" in that example refers to pieces (two pieces), and pieces are countable.
Number 2 is not correct as it is written. "Two of information" needs a noun between "two" and "of." |

First, I got it, sir. Thank you very much..
I have another question...
Must "much of + plural pronouns" be used with "plural verbs" or "singular verbs"?
For example; Much of them are/is built up.
Here, which one do I choose, "are" or "is"?
May you be in happiness!! ^0^ |

I think it would be more appropriate to say "most of them" instead of "much of them".."much" is usually used in the context as "too much"...but in either case the verb should be plural.
Most of them are green..for example. _________________ born to lose, losing to live, living to die... |
