I come from Taiwan and is learning English now,
so i try to translate the fable story books from Chinese to English
(Although the stories all came from foreign area,i only have Chinese version)
If i make any mistake in English, such as grammar or spelling,
please tell me,and i'll highly appreciate it.
The story is as follow:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE DOVES AND THE SPARROWS
The doves and the sparrows were neighbors.
Everyday, the master supplied the doves a lot of food including fodder、water、vegetables...et cetera.
And the master also built a house for the doves.
The doves house was safe because of the fences and iron windows. Those prevented the doves from the invasions of wild cats、owls、snakes...and so on.
However, the situation of the sparrows was completely different.
Everyday, the sparrows sneaked into the doves house and ate the food that the doves had left while the master was away or careless.
The crushed mung beans、peas、sweet corns for the doves were delicious.
But to the sparrows,no one built houses for them,so they had to nest hardly by themselves
One day,a mother dove laid two eggs. She and the father dove held the eggs in arms by turns.
After eighteen days, the baby doves hatched.
Wow,it would be wonderful to have more children said the mother dove which was watching these two cute baby.
The sparrows heard this and tried to say something, but finally felt small and stopped.
As the baby doves grew up,the mother dove said it again to herself: Wow,it would be wonderful to have more children like these
This time, the sparrows couldnt stand it anymore.
Our friend! said the sparrows to the mother dove.
The sparrows looked the baby doves intentionally before they finished the words and kept saying:Dont think of that,OK?
Why not?
The sparrows said seriously:the more children you have means the more doves were imprisoned in the cage, and youll have more to worry about, isnt it?

Nice story. I've edited and made some adjustments.

THE DOVES AND THE SPARROWS

The doves and the sparrows were neighbors. Every day, the master supplied the doves with plenty of food including fodder, water, vegetables, etc. The master even built a house for the doves. The doves house was safe because it had iron windows and a fence surrounding it. It prevented wild cats, owls, snakes and so on from intruding on the doves.

However, the situation with the sparrows was completely different. The sparrows had no house and no food. Every day, while the master was away, the sparrows had to sneak into the doves house and eat the leftovers the doves left on the ground. The leftover crushed mung beans, peas and corn were delicious to the sparrows.

The doves ate well and nested in the comfort of their own house. Since no house was built for the Sparrows, they nested on the open ground.

One day, a mother dove laid two eggs. She and the father dove took turns nesting on the eggs. After eighteen days, the baby doves hatched. They were delighted. Wow, it would be wonderful to have even more baby chicks", said the mother dove who was watching over her two cute little baby doves.

The sparrows heard this and wanted to say something, but was too ashamed to speak.

As the baby doves grew up, the mother dove once again said, Wow, it would be wonderful to have even more chicks like these!

This time, the sparrows had to speak up. "My friend, said the sparrows to the mother dove as they looked lovingly at the baby doves, "Are you sure you want more?" Why not? said the mother dove. The sparrows replied, "Because the more children you have the more doves will have to share your prison.

The End
