Murandavia's technique, like the man, is also unique-he never repeats the same knife stroke twice in the belief that each stroke has a life of its own.
In the above, what does 'like the man' mean?

Hi Chan-Seung Lee,
It's saying that the stroke technique (sculptor?) used by Murandavia is like his own pesonality or character - that of someone who wouldn't do something the same way twice. Each time he does it, it is meaningful and unique - like the artist.
