Hi members,

I need some grammar help again. Is the following sentence all right?

I didn't approve of joining our club.

How does this sentence sound to you?
Smile
Thanks in advance.

Aisen:

I think that sentence looks good. I might suggest that you re-write it as follows:

I didn't approve of [his/her/their/your] joining our club.

By choosing one of [his/her/their/your] you will make the sentence clearer.

Best,

Hello mescalero,

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it very much.

, which means the original sentence would be unclear without the subject of "joining our club," doesn't it?

Yours,
