Hello Khalid,
It means, "Don't quote me inaccurately. I did not say what you've just said I said." However, it usually means something a bit more, such as, "What you are saying does not accurately represent the meaning of my statement. Please don't present your interpretation of my words as if you were quoting me. It is not accurate and I find it annoying."
The statement "Don't put words in my mouth." is usually made during an argument or debate when one person feels another has deliberately misquoted him or her (put words in his/her mouth) in order to gain the advantage.
If someone says this to you it is usually more productive to politely ask for further clarification of his or her views rather than to continue to debate.
