I've looked at a lot of religions over the years and Hinduism was one of them.
Anything you want to know you can usually find on www.google.com or one of the other search engines.

I've asked this question 'cause i'm a Hindu. In our religion, sex is considered as an obvious thing and whenever it is mentioned in our religious books, its only for the bad. It is considered a worldly craving and anti-spiritual. Our religion believes in immaterial love.
If we suppose God created everything, then according to Einstein, "God doesn't play dice" and there a is reason for everything to be here.

Some people consider being a non-veg.(mostly priests in our religion) as bad as we r destroying life of animals for our hunger. But consider my view. Acc. to science, plants have life. Then. veg. people r also doing a sin by killing plants for their hunger.

So, sex is God's choice and we have to obey him/her.

Thanks for that insight on Hinduism.I am a Hindu and I agree that most Hindu Gods have more than one woman. Many of the act performed by these Gods can well land them in prison as per the rules of our times. But I don't think Hindus have no hang-over about sex.I wish it were true. Just see the protest by Hindu hardliners on Valentine's day and you will know.Hindus expect their children to remain virgins till marriage. Infact most Hindus think that it is the Christians who are free about sex. I believe sex is normal is should be allowed, ofcourse with some conditions.

I think priests should preach to guide to have control on yourself and should also preach the fairer side of sex. If they belive the God has created the world, he must have done it properly and they no right to expose only the dark side of sex.

All mammals, including us, reproduce by means of sex. We are hard-wired to actively seek out sex as a means of passing on our genes.
You would logically conclude that god made us to really enjoy sex, to the point of risking our lives for it!
Religions in general, except Hindus, are down on sex, because most of us would rather have sex than go to Church, mosque, temple or what-have-you.

This opinion is not right. Hinduism believes in sex. Hinduism believes sex as an art!!!! Yes, u can visit ancient hindu temples and u will see many different styles carved on temples. Hindu religious had also produced the first book of love before many years which is calle "Kamasutra", the art of love.

Elbharat, you have misunderstood what I said.
Religions in general, EXCEPT Hindus, are down on sex means that Hindus are OK with sex.
However, according to technomaniac, who is Hindu, even Hindus expect everyone to be a virgin until they are married.
There may be good reasons why this is so.
For instance there is AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia and a whole host of other nasty diseases that are spread by sexual contact, any one of which can ruin your whole day, if not your life.
