Hi teachers,
Supposing I will be in Hong Kong from March01, 2006 to March10,2006, is it correct to say as follows:
1) I will be making a trip to Hong Kong during March01~March10, 2006.
2) I will be travelling to Hong Kong during March01~March10, 2006.
Which of the sentences sound more natural?
Thank you very much in advance. |

In my opinion your first sentence says it best! I would simply say "I will be in Hong Kong from March 1st through March 10th." It will be understood that you will have traveled there. |

I agree with Meadowlark.
If you say I will be making a trip/travelling to Hong Kong during March01~March10, 2006, I would think that your flight will leave sometime during those 10 days. But I wouldn't know which day or how long you plan to stay in HK.
If you will be in HK all those days, I would use from March 1 to March 10, instead of during. |
