Hello Paggy-Chen,
"Because" and "so" are words that can be used to tell more about something. They link two parts of a sentence together. They can be used to tell "why". They give the reason for an action or situation.
Why do students ask questions?
Students ask questions because they wish to learn the answers.
Students ask questions so they may learn the answers.
Why do teachers answer questions?
Teachers answer questions because they wish to help students learn.
Teachers answer questions so students will learn.
Why does my cat chase birds?
My cat chases birds because she hopes to catch one.
My cat hopes to catch birds, so she chases them.
Why doesn't my cat catch birds?
My cat does not catch birds because they fly away when she comes near.
Birds fly away when my cat comes near, so she is not able to catch them.
Why do the birds fly away?
The birds fly away because they hear the bell on my cat's collar.
The birds hear the bell on my cat's collar, so they fly away.
Why did I put a bell on my cat's collar?
I put a bell on my cat's collar because I do not want her to harm the birds.
I put a bell on my cat's collar so she will not be able to harm the birds.
