Hello buddies. Very Happy
Do u people like music and songs of foreign languages?
Well, I think music is associated with brain waves and they do not have any language. U just simply dissolve in music.

I listen to music which i dont understand, though i think understanding the music can add a whole different level to music (if it is good lyrics Very Happy ...if its bad lyrics ... (some of you non-germans who find out what Rammstein is talking about might have experienced this.. Razz ) it might even bring you down to a disappointing level!...

I used to live in Taiwan for four months and I really enjoyed the music there, although I didn't speak more Chinese than wo ai ni.

But still I think that music can add the extra touch if the lyrics describe exactly the state of mind you are in. So in that case you need to understand what is sung about. For most pop music or just background music, it really doesn't matter.

One advantage of lyrics you understand is that you can sing along. Most of the times, you like a song a better when you can sing along with it.
