No, I think it isn't. But however it's funny to discuss.

The major advantage of using a computer as a teaching tool is its interactivity. However, using it the wrong way you end up like having the students read a textbook off the monitors. Worse yet, you could get bunch of students playing freecell while you teach. A well designed web learning experience is just as good as a well written textbook or a well instructed class. It depends on how you exploit it.

yes you are right KHT but if we think positively in using web in teaching English language is more fuuny and interesting compare to learning English in school or teach English in old ways and this may also will loose the students attentions in learning English language. if we apply web -based learning in our teaching, we can cater more language learning informatioen for the students to refer......so..........what is your opinion,,,,,

In my opinion, there are pros and cons in using technology as a teaching tool. I agree with the reasons pointed out by KHF regarding web based language learning as a teaching tool. However, i do also agree to what has been pointed out by Sui Lan. Using technology as a teaching tool can be very interesting and something to look out for. Students are not taught in traditional ways but they are exposed to new learning styles and techniques via the technology. As a result they can get to use the technology in a beneficial ways. Furthermore, it can also be a great stimulant in encouraging motivating learning and self directed learning as the learners are be able to learn at their own pace of time.
