"Ron and Paul are well" means what?
1. They are good person?
2. They get along well?
or else in some occasion? _________________ "Watch flower flowering and searing

It usually means that they have no major problems in their lives. They are not ill, they are not about to be fired from their jobs, they haven't been in a car accident, etc.
In certain contexts it could mean that they are getting along well, but most people would say just that: "Ron and Paul are getting along well." But if the context is that they had been fighting, your sample sentence would be clear that they are friends (again). |

Ha ha, fat chance.
Thanks, Wangfeel, but I'm just a fan the language, and I like the challenge of trying to explain things.
Keep up the good work! |
