1. What is rat race?
Swimming is healthier than rat race. What does it mean?

Can you give me some sentences?

2. Does jogging mean running?

Thank you.

The rat race is the fiercely competitive struggle for position that is the daily life of many people in many parts of the world.

Swimming is one of the best exercises there is for the maintenance of health. It is low impact, aerobic, and maintains the strength of more muscles than almost any other sport, except cross-country skiing. The rat race is a high- stress sedentary lifestyle. You can see that, for health, swimming is better.

Jogging is running, but at a slow pace. It is a sort of practice for serious running, but is mostly used as a method of maintaining fitness.
