Hi everybody!
We can all have fun learning new vocabulary words with this game. You can post as many times a day as you like.
THE GAME OF OPPOSITES
How to play:
I'll start the game with a word that has an opposite.
The next person will do TWO things: FIRST - give the opposite of my word; SECOND - give a new word (make sure it has an opposite!) to keep the game going.
Let's say the starting word is HAPPY. The next person writes SAD (or MELANCHOLY or GLOOMY or DISMAL, etc) and then ADDS A NEW WORD.
Here's an example of how the game might go:
Starting word - HAPPY
Person#1 - SAD . . . TALL
Person #2 - SHORT . . . FAST
Person #3 - SLOW . . . BUMPY
Person #4 - SMOOTH . . . AMUSING
Person#5 - BORING . . . NATURAL
Person#6 - ARTIFICIAL . . . FORWARD
And so on.
OK! LET THE GAME BEGIN!
THE STARTING WORD IS: TOGETHER

Oops! Shiner's words were in the subject line.
Let's go on from Philo. Philo's new word was UP, so I'll give the opposite - - - - DOWN
and then I'll add the new word Shiner gave - - - LOVELY |

Excited (opposite of relaxed)
Sad (my new word - the next person gives the opposite of this and then adds a new word)
Redset - Good point! Let's try using easier words for now. |
