most of rural student in malaysia facing a problem in their english learning language. it is because their parents have a lack knowledge in english language. even though every school has an english teacher, but the teacher can only educate the student in school, but when the student come back to home, their parents can help them in their english language learning. if they go for tuition, will the tutor know the student weakness? will the tutor 'repair' the students weakness? or on ly the students willingness is the only way to help themself?

Hello Shafiq,

If a student wants to learn there is usually a way. It may take longer for some students in rural areas to find a way to learn English, but if they really want to do it, they can ask their teachers and others at school to help. I hope they will get help if they ask for it. They may also be able to find other students who will help them learn.

I often think of all the young people who are faced with the difficult task of learning English to be able to get ahead in the world and I feel concern for those whose circumstances make the task even more difficult.

Every day I meet more students who are determined to work hard to learn this strange language. You all have a great dea of courage. I admire you!
