Dear fellows,
I'd found tt this forum is very useful for us in sharing ideas and opinions about language learning. Recently, i've interested in an article by Prof. Alan Maley entitled "Teaching Grammar: infection or injection. In the article, he has stated three levels of grammar; word grammar, sentence grammar, and discourse grammar.
Da first one covers the word classes (noun, morphology, pluralisation etc). The second featured the wprd order, tense, aspect, and modality. Lastlt, discourse grammar covers the way formation is ordered and patterned in longer texts. For ur extra knowledge, u can refer to Prof. Alan Maley grammar article: Practical English Teaching, March, 1992.
