Hello RZ

1. I had a bad cold yesterday, so I didn't do much work. But I feel better today, so I've been able to work more normally.

2. I had a bad cold yesterday, so I didn't do much work. But I feel better today, so I've managed to work more normally.

In the first sentence, the emboldened part means "it has been possible for me".

In the second sentence, the emboldened part means "despite obstacles, it has been possible for me".

In other words, "I've been able" is neutral; but "I've managed" expresses a sense that the speaker has had to make a special effort.
