Here is a saying from Oprah Winfrey:
i am a woman in process; i'm just trying like everybody else.

Could you explain what "in process" means in this situation?

I think what she means by a woman "in process" is that she is "working toward" being a better woman.

She may be a good woman, but probably continues to learn and to try to better herself, as do most other people. In that sense, she is "like everybody else".
