As the two words can both mean advantage, are the following sentences correct and identical?
1. ...services that promote the customer's convenience
2. ...services that promote the customer's facility
Any difference between the two? In which sense can they be used interchangeably?
Thank you |

.
I find the second unnatural, and can think of no instance offhand where they are interchangeable.
Quick definitions (convenience)
1. noun: the quality of being useful and convenient (Example: "They offered the convenience of an installment plan")
2. noun: the state of being suitable or opportune (Example: "Chairs arranged for his own convenience")
3. noun: a device that is very useful for a particular job
4. noun: a toilet that is available to the public
Quick definitions (facility)
1. noun: a service that an organization or a piece of equipment offers you (Example: "A cell phone with internet facility")
2. noun: services and space and equipment provided for a particular purpose
3. noun: a building or place that provides a particular service or is used for a particular industry (Example: "The assembly plant is an enormous facility")
4. noun: a natural effortlessness (Example: "They conversed with great facility")
5. noun: skillful performance or ability without difficulty (Example: "He was famous for his facility as an archer")
