There are many factors which can cause computer slow down ,for instance, your computer is invaded by some spysofts or some viruses.I don't know much knowledge about computer, but I have some experiences about using computer.

Firstly,if your computer hardwares do well, you 'd better reinstall your computer software-your Windows system.

Secondly, you need install FireWall which it can prevent vicious attacks from hackers.

Thirdly, you need install anti-spysoft and anti-viruses sofeware which it can remove some spysofts and viruses which have already invaded your computer.

If your computer run fast or normal before, you should check your computer processes and see if there are some skeptical processes,if you find them ,you can google them and see what they are.If they are some spysofts or viruses, you can search for their locations in your computer and remove them,if they can not be removed in normal mode, you can enter into the safe mode and remove them.

This is just my some experiences of using computer,I don't know if they can help you a little, good luck.
