Hi everyone
I know that "far" modifies comparative adjectives as in "far better"

but I had never seen "far more" to modify comparatives as in "FAR MORE SMALLER"before I saw it in an exercise book as the correct answer of a multiple choice question. Is something like that possible?

I would be very grateful if you helped me THANK YOU

.
Better is also a comparative: good, better, best.

Far more smaller is not possible; far smaller and far more excited are certainly possible.

The definition of this far is: 'to a considerable degree; much: felt far better yesterday; eyes that seemed far too close together'.

I guess you can't always trust those books..."more smaller" as a comparative is wrong, with or without the "far."
