Dear Teachers,
1.Are these sports correct?
- high jump, pole jump, long jump, rugby football, weight-lifting, figure-swimming.
2.Im screwing up every little thing.
- screw up here means mess, right?
3.She never did anything to him.
- I think we should use for instead of to, right?
4.She is dead on in her thinking.
- dead on here means absolutely right in her thinking, right?
5.That should keep us all amused for some time.
- Can I say ..make us all amused.?
Thanks a lot to Teachers,

.
1-- I've never heard of pole-jumping (pole-vaulting?) or figure-swimming (synchonized swimming?); otherwise, they are fine.
2.Im screwing up every little thing.
- screw up here means mess, right? -- Yes
3.She never did anything to him.
- I think we should use for instead of to, right? -- No, they have different meanings: do to = inflict upon; do for = aid, assist.
4.She is dead on in her thinking.
- dead on here means absolutely right in her thinking, right? -- Yes
5.That should keep us all amused for some time.
- Can I say ..make us all amused.? -- No, it is not natural.
