i do not think the environment of china is very nice, especially in beijing. i think now beijing is famous for three characteristics, the capital of china, the city which will hold olympic games in 2008 and the sand storm. without exaggeration, everything will be covered by sand when the sand storm is coming in spring. but this situation can not be cured forever. so we have to endure this forever. i wonder whether our city will disappear as loulan--an ancient country in xinjiang.

I live in Philadelphia. Let's just say that it's not exactly healthy to breathe the air outside. Then again, the US is a large country, so there are some places where the environment is still very good, and others where it is pretty bad.
