Hi,
I came across the phrase "stung out on drugs" while reading an article about a rock band. I looked up in several dictionaries and found that "string out" means 'to be in a line with space in between', but I couldn't find any example with the preposition "on" and still don't understand the phrase in the article. Please help.
Thanks,
Nawee |

Hi,
I found the answer to your question on longman online dictionary.
strung-out [not before noun] informal
strongly affected by a drug, so that you cannot react normally [= high]
strung-out on
strung-out on drugs
Hope it helps.
