American education and Chinese education are quite different. I dont think they have any similar but they both have advantage and disadvantage. Chinese education is called exam-oriented education. It means the examination is a students whole life in school. In China, a student must learn eight subjects when the first day he goes to school. The teachers teach him the subjects very conventionally. American education is very active. The education system never constitutes a pattern. Teachers ask students talk about everything freely. Teachers encourage children to train ingenuity when they are very young. I think Chinese and American education system should learn each other. The education will be improved well. _________________ Love my China |

I agree your idea . Chinese students always have many exam every day . And , if students fail in the exam , their parents and teacher can punish them for this exam is not good . However, American students have no any pressure form their parents and teacher . _________________ Helen |
