Hello,
I have two sentences here:
1. You can't do it the way it's got to be done.
What does "the way it's got to be done" mean? What does "has got to" mean?
2. He bought in for a kite.
What does "buy in" in the above sentence mean ?

1. You can't do it the way it's got to be done. This sentence can be rephrased: 1. You can't do it the way it has to be done.
2. He bought in for a kite.
I am not sure if it is a correct sentence. Perhaps, 'in' should be changed to 'it' as below.
2. He bought it for a kite |
