Do they mean the same thing?

2. Can *nostalgic* and *retro* be used interchangebly when describing old movies?

3. I don't have the *stamina*(or enery?) or time to start another family revolution with my mom. So, I will buy that halter top once I am finished with my entrance exam.

Is that a good sentence?

4.When people are under stress or press, they tend not to hide themselves. It's usually a good timing to see their *true colors*.

Is that a good sentence, is there another way of using that?

5. I took a picture, trying to capture her *character*(or characteristics or personality traits?)
Character is the word used in that song, "Se xy" by Black eyed peas. Which of the three can be shown through good pictures?

3. You would usually say. I don't have the time or energy to start another family fight with my mom.
