1.premium=a gift or reduced price offered as an incentive to purchase another product or service
The manufacturer offered premiums, *in the form of free merchandise*, for every purchase of a new car.

I understand the explanation, but I don't get the sample sentence.

2. What do you call the place where you get your photos developed, print shops or photoshop(also the software)?

3. When I was about to touch the doorknob, the door just flung open. The door nearly *slam into* my face.

Is that correct?

4.I am *sociable* or *social*.

Do they mean the same thing?

5. I switched my cell phone to *mute*.
or My cell phone was *on mute*.

6. What do you call something that you carry around for luck? It could be a necklace or bracelet with sentimental value or a cross for religious purpose. A charm?

Thanks to you all out there

It means the manufacturers offered you freee stuff if you buy a car from them. e.g. Buy this Ford Focus for $15000 and we will give you a free TV set.

2. A Photo Lab (Photographic Laboratory) or a photoshop. A print shop is usually in the business of printing, books, flyers, copies of documents, business cards and so on.

3. Slammed into.

4. Sociable is probably what you mean - i.e. You like the company of others and you enjoy interacting with them.
Social, means living in organized communities, unfitted for a solitary life. (Man is a social animal),needing companionship, gregarious,, cooperative etc..
They are similar but you can be social without being sociable, I think.

5. Either is OK
6. A good luck charm.
