I can't offer any magic advice. But, seriously, the best way I know of to "overcome indolence" is a little bit at a time. Do ONE THING that you know you should do to work on English (or anything else). Just one thing.
Then, do ONE MORE. Later, do one more... At some point, momentum will start to be with you instead of against you.
