Well, I can feel from your words that you are not very confident to speak English now only because you sometimes make grammatical mistakes.

In my opinion, you needn't to think it as an embarrassment for the following reasons: No.1 We are still English learners so it's natural if we make some mistakes. No.2 Not only you have such kind of problems. Most learners make such kind of mistakes while speaking. NO.3 Usually, the native English speaker will focus more on the meaning instead of the grammer. So, you will have no big problems of communicating with them.

I think reciting can help you somewhat. If you really learn some sentences by heart, sometimes you can just speak them out without thinking. And because they are prepared, there won't be any grammatical mistakes in it.

In terms of how much should you recite?
I'm afarid i can not give you specific ideas. It depends on your grade now and also your English level.
I suggest you to start with some useful expressions we may often use in daily lives. And you will feel successful if you can use them while you are speaking. And then step by step, you recite some more difficult ones and finally you wil get your English speaking fluent and grammatically correct.

Laughing And why not watch more movies? It also helps.
