Hi larva.
I'm going to pass TOEFL exam soon and I have the same obstacle as you have. I try to be more confident with my writing and i do for this the following: I just rewrite any texts... from books, from intrnet. It helps me to get the spelling skills. To construct sentenses I try to avoid long constructions. It helps me to avoid mistakes. It works for me... try it)
Good luck! |

IELTS is a tough exam isn't it? Typing out answers on Microsoft word, spell-checking, and then handing them on to a capable English speaker for checking helps. I also think that using a free online thesaurus is a good way of increasing your vocabulary and finding good antonyms when presenting argumentative style writing.
All the best on your IELTS challenge Larva! _________________ Want to study in Australia? Need IELTS advice? I can help... [email protected] |

What score do you need? The skills you need depend largely on the score you want to get. For example, to get band 5 in writing, just writing the minimum number of words is enough. To get band 6, you must actually answer the question and have some ideas! |
