Yes, just like in the judeo-christian belief system as explained above, whether admitted by you or not. The scripture also says you can never be equitable in poligamic relations, which you conveniently ignored.
To my knowledge people in west Africa, where poligamy is most widely practiced by muslims, are not reputed to be in a financially secure position. Then your assertion of �financial hardship is what really keeps people from marrying more than one wife� turns into a grotesque statement, revealing an unfamilarity with the subject. Nor it is likely that these certain traditionalist Arabian states, as the enycyclopedia names them, will stop practising it with the mentality they have, even if their oil-based richness ceases to exist. A sheer lack of sophistication in argument and a committed belief that muslim behaviour represents a synonymous to �cave man� style behaviour was what led me to conclude that it was a �desperate attempt to conceal the fact that a major piece of an instrument of an anti-islamic propaganda is scarecely practiced in the rest of muslim world.� I think this is more related to your comments about muslim�s being stupid than any case of lack of knowledge or wrong paraphrasing.

Yes and you should realise that i have repeatedly expressed my dissatisfaction on the matter. Another thing you should realise is that the oppression of women takes place also in these liberal democracies, though not in the form of state ideology, unlike in the case of these islamist countries. Yet it is also horrific, amnesty international , for instance, published reports informing us that in France � every 4th day, a French woman dies because of the violence commited by her husband�.

Yes and just as the support that lunatic , despicable guy recieved from the west when west wanted to make it an issue against their enemies. And no doubt that they share a degree of responsibility in the creation of this despicable monster.

It is very difficult to defend the indefensible, Hector, but I admire you for trying.
I am not a Christian or Jew, so I don't have too much time for some of their beliefs either. Generally speaking, though, you don't find Christians or Jews blowing themselves up in public places.
The problem of violence against women is pretty much pandemic, not confined to the members of any particular religion, and incidentally, it's not all one-sided. In any case it is vigorously prosecuted in any civilized society.
As for Usama, he was no doubt encouraged by the usual suspects when they were fighting the cold war by proxy in Afghanistan, but that is the dirty nature of world politics, particularly when you have it polarised into two competing ideologies where the participants are afraid to engage ech other in war directly.
Now Usama and his Islamists are trying to pit the world's two greatest religions against each other in a similar way.
It is tragic and stupid. |
