Dear Teachers,
1. Hes always cracking jokes and hardly takes anything at all seriously.
- What does take mean here?
2. He said that he got suspended from school.
- get suspended from school means hes not allowed to go school anymore, right?
3. I dont want to call him out about it because I dont want to seem desperate.
- What does call him out mean here?
4. Accidents will happen
- This means what will come will come, right?
Thanks a lot to Teachers,

1. Hes always cracking jokes and hardly takes anything at all seriously.
- What does take mean here? -- take = react/respond/consider
2. He said that he got suspended from school.
- get suspended from school means hes not allowed to go school anymore, right? --Suspensions are usually temporary; if it is permanent, he is expelled.
3. I dont want to call him out about it because I dont want to seem desperate.
- What does call him out mean here? -- Publically challenge his position, statement or action.
4. Accidents will happen
- This means what will come will come, right? -- Yes, or 'nobody's perfect'.
